Overview
We have a dedicated clinic day for community DEXA scans. The clinic can scan about 3 to 4 participants per hour. The date is reserved exclusively for us, with registration submissions required by Wednesday, April 1st.

How to register
All DEXA scans in Québec require require a prescription, which is being generously provided by Dr. Maude Caron.
To be included, email all of the following to activitedexa@gmail.com:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Québec Health Insurance Number (RAMQ) + its expiration date
- Phone number
Timing note: Out of respect for the professionals preparing your prescription and the clinic’s scheduling, please send your information as soon as you know you will participate.
After we submit your information to the clinic and confirm your appointment, you will be contacted for payment at the clinic’s designated portal.

Day-of
- Please arrive 10 minutes before your assigned time
- Throughput is 3 to 4 scans per hour starting around noon.
- Plan 30 to 45 minutes total time at the clinic, including intake and scan
- You will receive results per the clinic’s standard process. We will host a follow-up community call to interpret results and set goals.
What to bring
- Government ID and RAMQ card
- Any relevant referral details if requested in your confirmation
- Comfortable clothing without metal where possible
Privacy note
Your RAMQ and date of birth are sensitive health identifiers. Submit them only by email to activitedexa@gmail.com as instructed above.
